Discover the joy of design
ProtoToto can give kids a model of play through design that will activate a lifetime of creative thinking and problem solving. Each program allows children to explore specific fields of design while building soft skills critical for success. All our programs develop these core life strengths, our three Cs:

Hey! Let’s communicate
Communication is a huge aspect of design because at the heart of it, design is communal. We design for others (not just ourselves) so naturally we need to share our ideas with others and get their feedback too. Learning to see the world from different perspectives tends to make us more empathetic – and in turn better communicators!
A creative approach to life
We’re all creative, and kids are even more creative! ProtoToto teaches kids to supercharge their creativity through design and apply it to daily life. We make choices every day and creativity gives us the ability to think outside the box and approach problems in innovative ways. We also think creativity leads to more joy and confidence.
Thinking critically together
In the design process, we evaluate the strength of our ideas through research, supportive discussion, and feedback. It teaches us to evaluate arguments, make sound judgments, and not get bogged down with perfectionism – or taking feedback too personally. Using our brain power is a fun part of the process. We promise not to take ourselves too seriously.
